Terms of Service: The Bare Care Commitment
At Bare Care, we believe professional grooming should be built on mutual respect, technical excellence, and “human sense.” We aren’t a law firm—we are a specialized sugaring studio dedicated to your comfort. These terms outline how we work together to ensure the best results for your skin.
1. Transparent Pricing (No Hidden “Extras”)
We believe in predictable, honest pricing. The price you see on our menu is the exact price you pay at the end your appointment.
No “Overgrown” Fees: We don’t charge extra if it’s been a while since your last visit. Long hair is just part of the job.
Size-Neutral Pricing: We do not apply surcharges based on a client’s body size, weight or hairs density. Our rates are fixed to the service category selected.
No Pressure: We will never pressure you into your next appointment or push products you don’t need. Our goal is a stress-free environment from the moment you walk in until the moment you leave.
2. The 10-Minute “First-Timer”
We are so confident in the comfort and superior technique of our sugaring that we offer a risk-free trial for your very first appointment.
How it works: If, within the first 10 minutes of your session, you feel the technique, comfort level, or environment isn’t the right fit for you, we will stop immediately with no charge.
The Result: There will be no charge for the time spent, and no invoice will be issued. We want you to feel 100% certain that you’ve found the right specialist.
3. Our “Better than any previous waxing” guarantee**
We don’t just aim to be “good”; we aim to be the best hair removal experience you’ve ever had.
The Promise: We guarantee that our sugaring provides a significantly better experience—including less skin trauma, reduced irritation, and a smoother finish—than any previous waxing experience you have had elsewhere.
The Refund: If you aren’t convinced of the superior results within 21 days (3 weeks) of your treatment, contact us and we will refund your service in full.
4. Cancellations & The “Human Sense” Policy
We value your time and ask that you value ours. Our calendar is a precision-timed schedule designed to give every client unhurried, dedicated care.
24-Hour Notice: Cancellations or rescheduling made more than 24 hours before your appointment are always free of charge.
Deposits: For extra-long sessions, we may request a small deposit for a new customers to secure your time.
The “Life Happens” Clause: If you cancel within 24 hours due to a genuine emergency or personal challenge, we stay human. We can roll your deposit over to a future booking or refund it based on the situation. We prefer long-term relationships over cancellation fees.
5. Punctuality & The Flow of Care.
Because we often book clients back-to-back to maximize our “server capacity,” timing is critical.
The Ripple Effect: Arriving late doesn’t just reduce your treatment time; it creates an inconvenience for the next client who arrives on time.
Late Arrivals: If you are more than 15 minutes late, we will do our best to finish your full service, but if not we may need to shorten your service or reschedule your appointment to ensure the rest of customers stay.
6. Mutual Respect & Professionalism
Our Standard: You will always be treated with absolute professional respect, strict privacy, and the highest hygiene standards.
Our Expectation: we ask for that same professional respect in return. We maintain a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment for all clients and staff. Any inappropriate behavior will result in the immediate termination of the session.
7. Health, Safety & Aftercare
Your safety is our operational priority. We maintain a “Zero-Contamination” environment through rigorous protocols that exceed standard requirements.
Licensed & Audited: Bare Care is a fully licensed salon, subject to regular inspections by the Auckland Council. These audits ensure our facility, sterilization techniques, and health and safety standards remain at the highest compliance levels.
The “Clean-to-Less-Clean” Protocol: To prevent cross-contamination during full-body or multi-zone services, we utilize a strict zonal workflow. We move from the most sensitive/clean zones to less clean areas, with mandatory changes of gloves and tools during every transition.
Single-Use Integrity: We maintain a 100% disposable policy for high-touch items. This means fresh disposable gloves and spatulas for every use. We never “double-dip” or reuse tools.
Surface Disinfection: Every surface, including treatment tables and equipment, is stripped and chemically disinfected between every customer using medical grade solutions.
Twizels desinfection: soaking in 98% spirit and high temperature treatment in vacuum package.
Skin Preparation: Every service begins with a professional-grade skin disinfection to ensure the treatment area is surgically clean before sugaring begins.
Your Responsibility: To maintain these standards, we require full disclosure of any skin conditions, allergies, or medications (such as Retin-A or Accutane) before we start.
